Embrace the rainy season

Before, I really envy students who live in places wherein  typhoons could hit. There would often be announcements on national television about the suspension of their classes due to the bad weather. I always said "Ngee, maypa sila. Kanus'a pa man bagyohon and Davao oy?!" Call me rude but yes, those were the words always came out of my mouth.

Fourth of December 2012.
As I woke up, I immediately checked my phone as I always do, and read a lot of messages asking "Musulod mo guys?" "May pasok daw?" "Uy, mag school ka?" After reading those, I became curious so I turned on our television, switched the channel and then there, heard the announcement that the classes will be suspended because of the Typhoon Pablo.
And for the first time ever, classes are suspended because of the typhoon. I really didn't know how I should be feeling that time. Would I be happy because there would be no classes? Or should I be worried because of the typhoon?

After confirming that there would be no classes, there was just one thing I immediately did. I slept. Hooray for extended sleeping time Zzzz

PS: Let's pray for Davao guys, Pray for Philippines.
